D&Y employees regularly give back to the community, selecting the organizations to support with fundraising and volunteer activities. We recently volunteered to work in the garden at CASA, an organization dedicated to enabling the elderly and homebound to maintain their independence. While some of us could tell the difference between a weed and a vegetable and went right to work weeding in the vegetable garden, others opted for safer activities like mulching and harvesting! Overall, it was a great morning of camaraderie and accomplishment as we gave back to the community!
At a recent birthday celebration for the ARC of Madison County, a local organization supporting intellectually disabled individuals, it’s hard to say who enjoyed the celebration more, the ARC residents or the D&Y employees who participated!
